At present, 3 new workshops in Zhoushan Shipyard started construction in succession. The 3 new workshops include machinery &electrical workshop, pipe workshop and new hull workshop, of which the machinery & electric workshop in Zhoushan Shipyard's Second Phase construction, while pipe & hull in third phase. All these new workshops will be COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard's main facilities for newbuilding projects.
The new machinery & electric workshop will be located in the northwest of the new hull workshop and occupy 19,653m2 area. The new pipe workshop will be located in the north of the new hull workshop and occupy 21,053m2 area.
The estimated completion time for the new pipe workshop and the new hull workshop is end of this year. The machinery & electric workshop will be completed early of next year. |
